🔒 Task Locking System Explained
To maintain fairness and efficiency on Verix Tasks, we’ve implemented a powerful Task Locking System. This system ensures that task slots are respected and prevents oversubmission.
✅ What is Task Locking?
When you accept a task, the system automatically locks that task for you. This means:
- The slot you took is reserved and no one else can take it until your time expires or you submit proof.
- If a task is meant for 10 people and you accept it, then only 9 others can still accept it.
- This prevents cases where more users complete the task than the number required.
🕒 Time Limit
Once you accept a task, a countdown begins. You must submit proof before the timer ends.
If you fail to submit within the allowed time:
- Your lock expires.
- The task slot returns to the pool.
- You cannot submit proof for that task anymore.
📤 Submitting Proof
After locking a task, the "Submit Proof" button becomes active. Use it to send your task completion evidence before the time runs out. Don’t delay!
🛑 Important Notes
- You can only lock tasks one at a time.
- Don’t accept a task unless you’re ready to do it immediately.
- Locked tasks are only visible to you until time expires or you submit proof.
💡 Why Locking Helps
- Maintains task fairness.
- Prevents fake completions.
- Ensures that task creators get only the required number of submissions.
Remember: If a task has 20 slots and 20 people lock it, no one else can see or accept that task until one of the locks expire.
